Tuolumne County, CA– A man who was reported missing in the Emigrant Wilderness yesterday, has been found.
Sgt. Jeff Wilson of the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office, says that last night at around 10:00 pm, 44-year-old Craig Greenlee of Ukiah was reported missing by his father.
Greenlee had gone hiking in the Emigrant Wilderness on Sunday and was expected to return Thursday night.
This morning deputies located Greenlee’s car outside of Crabtree Trailhead. After searching for several hours, Search and Rescue along with a CHP helicopter were able to locate Greenlee.
“He was found alive and well and transported back to his car,” said Wilson.
Up to 8 inches of snow was reportedly on the ground in the Crabtree Trailhead area.
