Robbery Arrest In Valley Springs
Valley Springs, CA– Three people were arrested on robbery charges this morning in Valley Springs.
According to the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department, at around 11:15 am, Sheriff’s dispatch received a report of an armed robbery at a residence in the 7000 block of Cane Lane.
The victim of the crime reported that several men armed with weapons were at his home attempting to rob him of his medical marijuana plants.
The suspects left prior to the deputies’ arrival, but due to the helpful information provided by neighborhood callers, a vehicle description and license plate number were obtained.
A Sergeant responding to the call observed the suspect’s vehicle driving eastbound on Highway 12 near San Andreas. A traffic stop was initiated and after further investigation, three male suspects were taken into custody including a 17-year-old juvenile from Mokelumne Hill.
The other two males were 19-year-old Dominic Lee Wadkins of San Andreas and 27-year-old Fairfield resident, James Corey Hill.
Bail for both men is set at $150,000.
