Small Business Help On Council Agenda
Sonora, CA– This week the Sonora City Council will meet to discuss assistance for small businesses.
The Microenterprise Assistance Program will provide technical help and micro loans for people choosing to start a business or expand an existing business within the City of Sonora.
After hearing public comment, the council will consider approval of the program created through a $400,000 Community Development Block Grant recently awarded to the city.
The council will also consider approving the temporary closure of Highway 49 (Washington Street) for the 2011 Sonora High School Homecoming parade on October 21st, and the capitol Christmas tree procession on November 5th.
The Sonora City Council meets this Monday at 5:00 pm at Sonora City Hall.
