Yosemite Celebrates Hiking Trail Improvements
Yosemite Valley, CA– A number of popular hiking trails in Yosemite National Park have recently been improved.
The Yosemite Conservancy and the National Parks Service will celebrate these multi-million dollar improvements this Wednesday in a special event.
With a backdrop of Ahwahnee Meadow and Half Dome, park officials, Yosemite Conservancy representatives and legendary climber Royal Robbins will detail the work completed.
They will also dedicate the East Yosemite Loop trail with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony, recognize the work of the skilled trail crews and give thanks to those who have donated generously to the project.
The event will take place at the Church Bowl Picnic Area in Yosemite Valley at 10:45 am tomorrow.
