SHS Graduation Tonight
The Sonora High School class of 2011 will receive diplomas at a graduation ceremony this evening at Dunlavy Field.
Sonora High Principal Todd Dearden was Thursday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
“We will open the gates of Dunlavey Field at 5:30 p.m and the ceremony begins at 7 p.m.,” says Dearden. “When I started as principal of Sonora High School four years ago, these students were freshman, so I will miss them.”
Bret Harte graduation is this Friday evening at 7:30 p.m.
Don Pedro High graduation is June 6th and Tioga High will hold their graduation ceremonies on June 7th.
Calaveras High School graduation is Wednesday June 8th.
Ted Bird High, Cassina High and Adult Education graduated Wednesday.
Summerville High/Connections Academy graduated last Friday at the football field.
The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard on AM 1450 KVML each weekday morning at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47am.
