San Andreas Injury Accident

San Andreas, CA – A Calaveras County man was injured in a rollover accident yesterday.
The CHP reports that 50-year-old Tamara Bennett of San Andreas was driving in the northbound lane of Highway 49 and attempted to turn onto Edna Drive. She did not see a southbound vehicle approaching on Highway 49 driven by 42-year-old Paul E. Hoobler of West Point and the two collided. Hoobler’s vehicle left the roadway and overturned onto a barbed wire fence.
Hoobler sustained moderate injuries and was airlifted to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. Bennett was not injured. The accident was at around 5pm.
