Grant Funding Now Available

Angels Camp, CA– The Calaveras Community Foundation in Angels Camp is now accepting grant requests from local non-profit groups.

Previous grants have benefited education, health services, music, the arts, history and the youth.

“Having awarded nearly $38,000 in grants last year, more than twenty local groups received grants in 2010,” said Scott Ratterman, chair of CCF’s Grant Committee. “This year the Foundation plans to make even more funds available to assist and benefit as many groups as possible.”

Ratterman reminds those seeking funds to submit their grant requests soon. The deadine is June 1, 2011.

For the past ten years, Calaveras Community Foundation has awarded nearly $287,000 in scholarships and grants supporting a wide variety of projects and programs that improve the quality of life in Calaveras County.
