Upcoming Angels Camp Projects
Angels Camp, CA– A progress report on Angels Camp city projects will be heard next week at CAMPS at Greenhorn Creek.
Angels Camp Planning Director David Hanham will be on hand to discuss various 2011 projects includijng the Façade Improvement Program downtown. The program funded by a $300,000 grant will give a facelift to downtown buildings.
Discussion of new zoning for the historic commercial district will also be on the agenda, as well as the Angels Camp Master plan and trail.
Angels Camp Business Association President Bob Menary says these improvements are good news for the local business community.
“We’ve seen in the last couple months, new businesses coming into town. We have seven new businesses that have opened up. It is a growth that we are going through now and I’m very happy to see it finally.”
The “Planning for Angels Projects In The Works” meeting is Monday at 6 pm and open to the public.
