Sacramento, CA– As part of Women’s History Month, Assemblymember Kristen Olsen would like to honor an exceptional woman from her district.
She has invited constituents to nominate extraordinary women from the 25th Assembly District in their communities for consideration as the 2011 Woman of the Year.
“Honoring a woman in our community as Woman of the Year is or chance to give thanks for all of the hard work women do on a daily basis,” said Olsen. “Every day, countless women are making a difference in the lives of others and I encourage everyone in our region to nominate these remarkable women who are doing so much to make our communities a better place.”
Constituents can submit their nominations for Woman of the Year by visiting www.assembly.ca.gov/olsen. Nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, March 9th. Olsen and her staff will review the applications and announce their selection shortly thereafter.
Assemblymember Kristin Olsen represents the 25th Assembly District in the California Legislature, which includes Sonora and Angels Camp.
