Power Outage Afternoon Update
Sonora, CA– Less than 2,000 PG&E customers in the Mother Lode remain without power this afternoon due to the recent snow storms.
According to PG&E Spokesperson Denny Boyles, there are still over 1,000 customers in Tuolumne County without electricity. Most remaining outages are in East Sonora, Groveland, Tuolumne City and Twain Harte.
Around 422 remain in both Calaveras and Amador Counties. Most outages in Calaveras County are in the West Point and Dorrington areas.
“Overall we’re doing a lot better in terms of customer restoration today,” said Boyles. “We still have a number of outages in the Mother Lode, but the overall numbers are beginning to drop. It is my understanding that we expect to restore all of them today.”
