Kopf Will Lead Business Group
Sonora, CA — Ron Kopf has been selected to lead the Tuolumne County Business Council.
Kopf has been hired to be the new Executive Director, after the Council parted ways last month with Jim Conklin. The Council was formed in 2008 and is made up of business leaders in the community. Their goal is to address challenges facing the area in a positive and constructive manner.
TCBC Board President Darrell Slocum says, “We had several terrific candidates, however, Ron’s Knowledge of our organization, connections in the community, and understanding of our charter, pushed him to the top of the list.”
Kopf is the former Operations Manager of Mountain Springs and has recently been involved with the Gold Rush Gardens project proposed for the Jamestown Mine site.
