Highway 120 Accident Victim Identified

Groveland, CA– A 68-year-old man was killed Thursday afternoon after his jeep collided with a big rig truck near Groveland.
According to the CHP, just shortly after 3:00 pm, John Williams of Groveland was driving his 1996 jeep westbound on Highway 120 just east of Inspiration Drive. The driver of the big rig truck, 24-year-old Cody Price from Kingman, Arizona made a U-turn on Highway 120 and completely blocked the roadway.
Williams collided with the truck’s trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Price was uninjured.
