Multi and Single Car Accident Update
Tuolumne County, CA — CHP Officer Brad Schultz provides an update on several accidents that happened this morning.
A single vehicle accident at 10:30am on HWY 120, West of Green Springs Road here, resulted in major injuries. According to the preliminary report April Boland allowed her vehicle to veer left as she traveled eastbound and her 2001 Toyota Sienna. She went down the embankment and the car rolled over several times. She was flown to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. Investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
There were two accidents on HWY 108 the two vehicle accident at noon near Jamestown resulted in minor injuries. According to CHP Officer Brad Schultz one person was transported to a hospital but no names have been released yet.
The three car accident this morning on HWY 108 was caused by a vehicle slowing to stop for a deer crossing the road. Two other cars behind the stopped vehicle were traveling 45-50mph and were unable to stop. Juliette Simerley was in the first car and sustained minor injuries. She was driving a Suzuki Grand Vitara and was hit by J Scott Smith in a Jeep Wrangler. Anatoly Bryun in a Toyota Corolla then rear-ended the Jeep. Smith and Bryun were not injured. All three cars were towed from the scene.
