Vandalism At Calaveras High

Sponsored by:

San Andreas, CA — A Valley Springs teen that was hurt at Calaveras High School is facing criminal charges.

Calaveras County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the school over the weekend for a reported “medical aid.” They noticed a 200 ft. long blood trail that connected a male juvenile to a broken window that had been punched out at the school. It happened during the early morning hours. Sgt. Chris Hewitt says, “He ended up being transported to the hospital for medical aid, and charges will be filed for vandalism and public intoxication.”

Sgt. Hewitt notes that around six juveniles were at the school when the deputies arrived. A second teen, a 17-year-old unidentified male, also faces a charge of public intoxication.
