Cal Fire spokesperson Lindy Shoff tells Clarke Broadcasting that all incoming fire crews have been cancelled and that the fire is a half acre and moving at a slow rate of spread. No structures are threatened. Original post at 12:40 p.m.: Groveland, CA — Air and ground resources are on the scene of a vegetation fire in the Groveland area.
CAL Fire relays the blaze is in the 20900 block of Morgan Drive near White Gulch Road, south of Pine Mountain Lake. When fire crews arrived on the scene they found two burn piles and flames had spread from one of the piles to some nearby vegetation, according to spokesperson Lindy Shoff. She adds that no structures are threatened and the air tankers are on hold at Columbia air base while ground crews continue to battle the blaze.
