Investigation Underway Over Body Found In Murphys

San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County sheriff’s officials confirm they are investigating the details surrounding the discovery of a deceased person in a Mother Lode downtown creek.
Following a report called in during the mid-morning, sheriff’s officials are not yet able to release much in the way of details about the case. They confirmed only that the deceased was a male, found in Angels Creek that flows through downtown Murphys, at a location adjacent to the 800 block of Main Street.
