CCWD GM Heading South

Calaveras County, CA — After two years with Calaveras County Water District , General Manager Joone Lopez is heading to southern California. She will be the General Manager of the Moulton Niguel Water District. It serves several areas of Orange County including Mission Viejo.
Lopez joined the CCWD in May of 2010. Her accomplishments include acquiring $10 million in state and federal grant money for need water facility repairs. She also helped bring about the building of a new operations headquarter. Construction on the new facility will begin this June.
The District is set to name an interim GM at its meeting on Wednesday.
