Third Well In “Speed Freak” Investigation?
Linden, CA — Convicted serial killer Wesley Shermantine, whose maps have led authorities to hundreds of human bone fragments, has reportedly revealed the location of a third well where he says a victim can be found.
The Associated Press reports that Shermantine told Sacramento bounty hunter Leonard Padilla the location of a third well with human remains. It is in the same area of the other two that were previously revealed. The first well, near Linden, had over 1,000 bone fragments, and officials are still searching for the second well.
Shermatine reportedly told Padilla that a third well has a body dumped by former partner in crime Loren Herzogg. The pair was nicknamed the “Speed Freak Killers” for a murder spree during the 1980’s and 1990’s.
