California Opening Trade Offices In China

Sponsored by:

Sacramento, CA — Governor Jerry Brown says California will soon open trade offices in China.

The Associated Press reports that the Governor made the announcement this week during a visit by Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping. There will be two branches of the California-China Trade and Investment Office, one in Beijing and another in Singapore. Funding will come from private partners through the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development.

Brown feels it will promote investment between the world’s second (China) and ninth (California) largest economies.
