Motorists Delay In Tuolumne County

Columbia, CA – Traffic delays are expected in Columbia today due to the CVIN broadband project. Crews will be directional boring on Sawmill Flat Road west of Columbia College Drive. Motorists can expect 5 to 10 minute delays in both areas.
The work is part of the Central Valley Independent Next (CVIN) Broadband infrastructure installation. The 18-county CVIN project was funded by the federal stimulus package in 2009. It is designed to increase the broadband infrastructure of the region.
