“The Great Make Day”

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — Innovators are expected to gather at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds later this month.

“The Great Make Day” is designed to be an 11 hour event where the community comes together to “make, create and collaborate.” It is being put on by the Tuolumne County Economic Development Authority, Hacker Lab Sacramento, the Greater Good and REVAMP

Participants will be those that like to construct or make things, as well as people that are fluent in computer coding. Participants will be able to form teams while they are at the event, and will have a certain time frame to complete a project.

Prizes will be given out to the teams that create the top items. The public is invited to watch the day’s events. You can stop by the Sierra Building at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds from 9am-8pm on Saturday, July 20th.

The event is designed to be a chance for innovators to network and create interesting products that could eventually go to market.
