Sponsored by:

Jamestown, CA — The two car crash on Highway 108 and Bell Mooney Road near Jamestown is still having a major effect on traffic. Highway 108 was opened to traffic at 2:20pm. The Highway was completely shut down for more than an hour, the CHP was directing one-lane traffic for about 20 minutes. The problem was compounded by tow trucks that were stuck in traffic and could not get to the scene to clear area.

The CHP also set up detours down Bell Mooney, Havard Mine and High School Roads, but the traffic still backed up to Washington Street and 108 in Sonora.

She has major injuries and is being treated Sonora Regional Medical Center. The truck driver has minor injuries. Two ambulances were called to the scene.
