Commuter Delays In Columbia

Sonora, CA – Road crews will be working near Columbia and traffic will be slow. Crews will be rock saw trenching and directional boring on Sawmill Flat Road between Parrott’s Ferry Road and Columbia College Drive. Motorists can expect delays of 10 – 15 minutes and travel will be slow moving in that area.

The work is part of the Central Valley Independent Next (CVIN) Broadband infrastructure installation. The 18-county CVIN project was funded by the federal stimulus package in 2009. It is designed to increase the broadband infrastructure of the region.
