Fire Grows To 40 Acres

Sonora, CA — Crews remain on scene of a vegetation fire near the intersection of Murphy Road and Lime Kiln Road.
CAL Fire reports that it has grown to around 40 acres. There are a couple of structures in the area that crews are staged near in hopes of preventing any damage. Crews are battling the fire from both the air and ground. Smoke has been visible in the surrounding area. Click here to view a map.
