According to the National Weather Service, a Pacific Storm is moving through northern California with shower activity diminishing by early Friday.

Rainfall amounts in the Mother Lode will range from half an inch to one inch and a quarter.

Snow levels will begin from 6000 through 8500 feet.

One to three inches of snow accumulation is possible above 7000 feet.

Winds of fifteen to thirty mph are possible in the Sierra Nevada.

The potential exists for more unsettled weather over the weekend, especially in the mountains.
