Update: Power Outages In Mother Lode

Update at 10:30 a.m.: The power has  been restores to all 52 customers impacted by outages in both Tuolumne and Calaveras counties this morning. It remains unclear if the weather is to blame for the loss of power as PG&E did not list a cause for either outage. Both outages are detailed below.

Update at 8:30 a.m.: Some small power outages this morning in the Mother Lode. PG&E is reporting a new power outage in the Sheep Ranch area of Calaveras County. There are 32 customers spanning from Sheep Ranch Road to Cunningham Road and stretching along Armstrong Road. Some PG&E customers awoke to no electricity this morning in the Phoenix Lake area of Tuolumne County. The 20 customers’ power went out just before 7 a.m. along Victory Way and Montgomery Road, off Phoenix Lake Road.

It is unclear if the wet weather played a role in these outages, but the utility reports that crews are investigating a cause for both. The company reports that the restoration for these customers will be sometine in the 10 o’clock hour.

Original post at 8 a.m.: Phoenix Lake, CA — PG&E  relays that there is a small power outage this morning in the Phoenix Lake area of Tuolumne County.

Around 20 customers awoke to no electricity as their lights went out just before 7 a.m. The impacted area is along Victory Way and Montgomery Road, off Phoenix Lake Road in the Phoenix Lake Country Club Estates. A 10:45 a.m. restoration time has been given by the company.
