Tuolumne Government Offices Will Close Due To Storm
Sonora, CA — With low snow levels anticipated Tuesday morning, Tuolumne County government offices will be closed.
It includes all county offices other than public safety. The planned Board of Supervisors meeting has been postponed to 9am on February 12.
A press release from CAO Tracie Riggs notes that the National Weather Service indicates that snow levels could dip to as low as 500 ft. and it will create hazardous travel conditions. It adds that local residents are encouraged to limit travel. If you must go out, take precautions, allow extra time, and make sure to carry appropriate chains.
