Fight Night Is Coming To Tuolumne County

Sponsored by:

Fight Night in Tuolumne County will take place on Thursday November 1st!

Sonora’s “Fight Night” spokespersons Nate and Kathy Levering, were Friday’s KVML “Newsmakers of the Day”.

Fight Night is a live, national simulcast event that is for everyone; newlyweds, oldy-weds, seriously dating, engaged couples, anyone wanting to make a good relationship great. The presentation featuring husband-and-wife team Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott. The purpose is to help couples learn how conflict can actually bring a couple closer together.

The divorce rate in the US is 50% but it is estimated that the divorce rate in California is closer to 60%. Divorce not only impacts the couple, it also has tremendous impact to families emotionally and financially. Teaching couples to communicate is a key to keeping couples and families together.

The Leverings have attended seminars hosted by the Parrotts in the past and they are excited to have the opportunity to bring this simulcast to Tuolumne County.

The $10 per couple event will be held in the main worship center at Sierra Bible Church (15171 Tuolumne Road in Sonora) from 6:30 – 9:00 pm. The doors open at 6 p.m.

According to the Leverings, this is a relationship game changer. The public will laugh, learn, grow closer, and never look at fighting in the same way.

Tickets can be purchased at the door before the event or on sierrabible.com

There will be light food and beverages available and couples can remain anonymous, if they choose. In other words, the entire event takes place on the simulcast screens and it is not an on-site discussion.

Sierra Bible Church is not hosting this as a fundraiser but rather as a public service benefit to the community.

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard every weekday morning at 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45 on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML.
