Update: Fire Ignites Near La Grange
Update: The forward progress of the Lake Fire has been stopped at 28 acres.
Update at 11:28 am: When the Lake Fire near La Grange first ignited, it was moving at a “moderate rate of spread.” The incident command reports that the fire is now holding at about 10 acres. Air and ground resources remain on the scene, and crews are working to contain the blaze. No evacuations have been requested.

Original story posted at 10:58 am: La Grange, CA — Air and ground resources are arriving on the scene of a vegetation fire near the intersection of Highway 132 and Lake Road near La Grange.
Aircraft from Columbia were among those dispatched to the estimated 10-acre fire in Stanislaus County. There are no initial reports of any evacuations requested.
