Robbery Arrest At Bank In Junction Shopping Center

Sonora, CA — A man was arrested for allegedly robbing a Sonora bank this afternoon.

Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the BBVA Compass Bank on Mono Way at around 4:15 pm for a “hold-up alarm.” Officials found 29-year-old Kyle Lee Hoover of La Grange still inside with $5,000 of the bank’s money in his possession.

He was arrested and taken into custody. The Sheriff’s Office has not released more specific details at this time, regarding if Hoover had a weapon, or what type, and how the robbery was carried out.
