Update at 7 p.m.: Stanislaus National Forest fire officials report that a ambulance was also called to the scene for a woman with second or third degree burns that was having difficulty breathing, but no further details on her condition are available.

Update at 6:45 p.m.: Stanislaus National Forest fire officials relay that the fire has been contained at 3 acres. Crews will continue to mop up and check for hotspots for several hours. What sparked the blaze in under investigation but initially forest fire officials say the call came in as an escaped debris burn.

Update at 6:30 p.m.:  Stanislaus National Forest fire officials report that aircraft has been pulled off the fire but several engines remain on scene working towards full containment and will be mopping up for several hours. Update at 6 p.m.: Stanislaus National Forest fire officials who are in command of the blaze tell Clarke Broadcasting that the flame’s forward rate of spread has been stopped at three acres.

Forest fire officials have updated that one outbuilding and a car were damaged in the blaze and a total of four structures were threatened.  The fire is in the 28500 block of Italian Bar Road near Rose Creek Circle, between Jupiter and Twain Harte.  Tuolumne County Sheriff’s spokesperson Sgt. Andrea Benson reports residents in that area remain evacuated.

Update 5:30 p.m.: New details from the Stanislaus National Forest fire officials who are in command of the blaze. They tell Clarke Broadcasting that two outbuildings and a car have been destroyed and at least four structures are threatened. The fire is three acres in size and moving at a slow rate of spread with retardant lined all around the flames, according to forest fire officials.

The fire is in the 28500 block of Italian Bar Road near Rose Creek Circle, between Jupiter and Twain Harte.  Tuolumne County Sheriff’s spokesperson Sgt. Andrea Benson reports residents in that area have been evacuated. She adds that deputies remain in the area incase more evacuation are needed.

Update at 4:50 p.m.: Tuolumne County Sheriff’s officials report that residents in the area of 28500 Italian Bar Road near Rose Creek Circle, between Jupiter and Twain Harte have been evacuated. Sgt. Andrea Benson details, “One structure has been destroyed and four others are threatened. At this time there are no reports of injuries and everyone was outside of the homes when deputies arrived.”

CAL Fire reports that the fire is two to three acres in size and moving at a moderate rate of spread.

Original post at 4:30 p.m.: Juniper, CA — Aircraft and ground resources are heading to a report of a vegetation fire in Tuolumne County.

CAL Fire relays that the flames are in the 28500 block of Italian Bar Road near Rose Creek Circle, between Jupiter and Twain Harte. There is no word on the fire’s size or flame’s rate of spread or whether any structures are threatened. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the news center.
