DUI Suspected In Car Vs. Tree Crash In Calaveras County
Glencoe, CA – A Glencoe woman was arrested for DUI after a solo-vehicle wreck on Highway 26 in Calaveras County.
The crash happened just east of 3 Cent Flat Road in the Glencoe area over the holiday weekend.  The CHP reports that 25-year-old Sunne Land was behind the wheel of a 1993 Volkswagen sedan at an unknown speed. While westbound on the highway the vehicle went off the roadway for unknown reasons and smashed into a tree on the north shoulder.
Land suffered major injuries in the crash. The CHP reports after she was treated at a hospital she was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. The collision remains under investigation.
