Calaveras Supes To Hold Special Meeting This Week
San Andreas, CA – Now slated this Thursday is a special closed session for the Calaveras supervisors to name an interim director for its Public Works Department.
Jeff Crovitz, who has served as the county’s Public Works director since 2015, submitted a resignation letter earlier this month just ahead of a scheduled supervisors’ closed session discussion regarding his job performance. While his official last day with the county is June 5 he is scheduled to be away from his office through that date.
Along with deliberating over an interim director the board is scheduled to conduct a performance evaluation of a Building Department official.
Thursday’s session, which will close to the public following a 30-minute public comment period, begins at 9 in the county center’s administrative conference room (891 Mountain Ranch Road).
