Update at 9:30 a.m.: PG&E reports that the electricity has been restored to nearly 350 PG&E customers who woke up to no lights this morning in the downtown area of Sonora in Tuolumne County. The utility attributed the outage to the stormy weather. Those customers were without power for around two hours. Further details on the outage are below.

Original post at 8:35 a.m.: Sonora, CA — Nearly 350 PG&E customers woke up to no lights this morning in the downtown area of Sonora in Tuolumne County.

Their electricity went out just before 7 a.m. Those impacted are 347 customers east of Highway 49, stretching from East Dodge Lane, along East Jackson Street and East Bald Mountain Road to Lyons Street.

PG&E officials advise, “This is an unplanned outage due to a storm. When able, our crews will inspect and make repairs.”

Currently, the utility does not have an estimated restoration time.
