Update: Two Power Outages In Calaveras County

Update at 2:10 p.m.: PG&E crews have restored electricity to nearly 500 customers in Copperopolis and Valley Springs whose lights went out around 10 a.m. The utility did not give a cause for either outage. Further details can be viewed below.

Original post at 12:15 p.m.: Calaveras County, CA – PG&E reports two power outages impacting 500 PG&E customers in Calaveras County.

373 customers are affected by an outage in the Valley Springs area north of Camache Reservoir. Their lights went out just after 10 a.m. The company reports that a crew is investigating the cause, and the restoration time is 2:15 p.m.

Another outage that also began just after 10 a.m. in the Copperopolis area near Tulloch Reservoir in The Poker Flat Shores area off O’Byrnes Ferry Road is impacting 116 customers, mostly along Sunrise Road, where we reported on Thursday (10/31) a section of that roadway was shut down due to a propane leak. The utility has not posted a cause, and the posted repair time is 1:45 p.m.
