Update at 9:24 am: Caltrans has postponed today’s planned bridge inspection over Deadman Creek to a later undetermined date.
Original story posted at 6:40 am: Caltrans is warning high country recreators that there will be inspection work done this morning that will impact travel over Deadman Creek in the Kennedy Meadows area.
The bridge is on Kennedy Meadows Road. Periodic closures of the bridge will run from 9 am -11 am. Be prepared for delays if traveling in that area.
