Update at 8:15 p.m.: The CHP is reporting that Highway 4 has reopened to one-way traffic but it is slow going for the morning commute. A head-on crash involving several vehicles at the Milton Road intersection near Farmington brought traffic to a standstill for more than an hour. Although an air ambulance landed at the site, the CHP is indicating minor injuries in the wreck. A tow crew is on scene working to remove the wreckage. There is no estimated time for the roadway to completely reopen so motorists may want to find an alternative route.

The wreck happened just before 7 a.m. at the Milton Road intersection in the Farmington area. The crash has traffic stopped in both directions as the CHP reports an air ambulance has landed. There is no word on injuries. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the news center.
