Top Honor For A Tuolumne County School Administrator

La Grange, CA — The Tuolumne County Association of California School Administrators (TCACSA) recognizes Claire “Nickie” Lamm as Principal of the Year Big Oak Flat Groveland Unified School District.

The Region 7 conference is being held today, where she will receive the prestigious award. As principal of Don Pedro High School in the Big Oak Flat Groveland Unified School District, Lamm is known for her exceptional leadership and commitment to student success. Her superintendent, Wynette Hilton, comments about Lamm’s contributions, stating, “Mrs. Lamm has consistently demonstrated a profound commitment to fostering an environment where each student is not just a face in the crowd but a unique individual with distinct academic strengths and challenges.” Hilton added, “Her tireless efforts to understand and address the academic needs of each student have had a transformative impact on our school community. She goes beyond the traditional role of a principal by actively engaging with students, teachers, and parents to create tailored academic plans that cater to the specific needs of every learner.”

School administrators added that Lamm’s innovative approach to education and dedication to personalized learning have set a high standard for educational leadership in ACSA Region 7.

“Lamm is devoted to her students,” stated Superintendent of Summerville Elementary School and TCACAS charter president Benn Howell. “She looks for innovative ways to bring resources to her school that will inspire students. There is little that would prevent Mrs. Lamm from bringing the best to her school. She is devoted, continually seeking creative ways to inspire, and always ready to have fun at her school.”

School administrators congratulated Lamm on her “well-deserved recognition” and will celebrate her accomplishments at today’s Region 7 conference.
