California Launches New $25 Million Program For Small Businesses

Sponsored by:

Calaveras, CA– To bolster economic growth and support underinvested small businesses, California has announced the launch of the Technical Assistance for Capital Readiness Program. This initiative, backed by $25.3 million in funding from the U.S. Treasury’s State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI), aims to provide critical support to businesses with 1-9 employees, small manufacturing companies, and businesses operated by owners from underserved communities.

The program, spearheaded by the California Office of the Small Business Advocate, is designed to guide business owners through the loan process, assisting them in preparing loan applications and identifying the most suitable loan products. Additionally, it aims to enhance participants’ legal, accounting, and financial management skills, while increasing awareness of state-backed capital support programs.

“By facilitating access to capital and offering essential guidance, this program seeks to empower California’s smallest and most vulnerable business owners,” stated Kathryn Gallino, Calaveras County’s Economic and Community Development Director.

Business owners interested in benefiting from this initiative are encouraged to visit here for more information and to apply.
