Planned Outage To Affect Some CCWD Water Customers

Sponsored by:

San Andreas, CA — Thursday will be a dry day, water services-wise, for some Arnold-area customers.

Calaveras County Water District (CCWD) officials say that a large portion of its Meadowmont subdivision service area will not have water from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The planned outage is directly related to construction of the district’s $4.1 million Reach 3A Pipeline Replacement Project, slated through November, as crews toil to bring a new system online and effectively retire antiquated waterworks that have been in place since 1965. Ahead of the scheduled work district staff posted road signs to alert residents in the affected areas to the service disruption.

CCWD indicates that customers who live on the following streets are highly likely to be impacted: Fairway Drive; Dalmatia Drive; Flume Court; Sultana Road; Chapparrel; Venado Drive; Black Oak Drive; Black Oak Court; Country Club Drive; Gold Hill Circle; Placer Way.

Customers who live on the following streets may also experience a water outage: Nugget Drive; Quartz Drive; Stag Way; Silver Drive; Crystal Way; Antler Drive; 5th Green Drive.
