Jamestown Man Jailed For Child Sex Abuse

Jamestown, CA — Deputies have arrested a 69-year-old Jamestown man for felony continuous sexual abuse of a child.

According to the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office log and custody report, John Edward Brumley was arrested in the noon hour Wednesday at Twin Pines Mobile Home Park on Wigwam Road. Five hours later he was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail on the charge; his bail set at $125,000.

The investigation is ongoing, according to Tuolumne County Sheriff’s spokesperson Sgt. Deborah Moss, who adds that her office is not releasing any further details regarding the case, due to its sensitivity and out of respect for the victim and victim’s family.
