Update: Coulterville Area Vegetation Fire Contained

Update: 5:25 p.m.: Columbia air resources are returning to base, as CAL Fire reports that a vegetation fire in Coulterville area has been contained at two acres and there are no longer any structures threatened.

Original Post 5:05 p.m.: Sonora, CA — Columbia air resources and other units are working a second late afternoon fire that broke out at 4:45 p.m. in Mariposa County.

According to CAL Fire, the incident is a vegetation fire in the 5300 block of Greeley Hill Rd by Dogtown Road in the Coulterville area. Currently the blaze is described as two acres in size, in light vegetation with slow rate of spread and that one structure is threatened.
