Caltrans Crews Back Beginning Sunday
Sonora, CA – Many Caltrans crews are on slate to work day and night this week, with plenty of work scheduled for Sunday.
In Tuolumne County, along Highway 108 expect ten-minute delays in the following places, as follows:
–Sunday only during crack seal work between Mono Way and Sullivan Creek from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m.
–Weekdays between the Hess Avenue overcrossing and North Sunshine Road from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., during crack seal repair work
–Weekdays between Soulsbyville and Herring Creek roads, as tree crews work from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Along Highway 120, maintenance work every weekday between Hells Hollow/Ferretti Road and Lost Claim Campground may generate brief motorist interruptions from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Calaveras Cone Zones
Beginning Sunday, on Highway 12, overnight striping operations continue between the Calaveras/San Joaquin County line to Highway 49. Crews will set up nightly at 7 p.m. and remain in place through 6 a.m. Friday morning. Motorists should anticipate ten-minute delays here.
During the same timeframes more striping bringing similar impacts along Highway 26 is slated between Shelton Road and Highway 49 near Mokelumne Hill. Motorists should anticipate ten-minute setbacks during overnight pavement repairs on Highway 26, also scheduled from Savage Way to Paloma Road, Sunday night until Friday morning from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Along Highway 4, overnight striping between Foundry Lane and Anrey Court will set up in the overnights beginning Sunday through Friday from 9 p.m. until 7 a.m., which is likely to generate ten-minute delays.
Highway 49: A Hotbed For Roadwork
Along Highway 49 — overnight and in the daytime — motorists traveling between the Tuolumne/Calaveras and Calaveras/Amador lines may experience five to ten-minute traffic interruptions, as striping operations — under moving closures — continue in the following locations:
–Between the Tuolumne/Calaveras County line and Frogtown Road in the overnights beginning Sunday through Friday from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m.; and weekdays from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
–Between Pool Station Road and the Calaveras/Amador County line in the overnights, Sunday through Friday from 6 p.m. until 7 a.m.; and weekdays from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
–Between Copello Drive and Angels Road in the overnights, Sunday through Friday from 6 p.m. until 7 a.m.
On Highway 49 daytime pot holing in San Andreas is scheduled every weekday between Mountain Ranch Road and Main Street, likely to create brief delays.
