Tuolumne County Supervisors To Talk Housing, Planning And Yosemite

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Supervisors will have discussions about workforce housing, the five year-plan, and concerns about changing the names of buildings in Yosemite.

At Tuesday’s meeting the board will vote whether to send a letter to the National Park Service, and Delaware North Company, urging that the two sides find a solution so that historic structures can retain their current names.

The Supervisors will hear a presentation from representatives of the Tuolumne County Association of Realtors, and the local Building Industry Association, detailing concerns about obstacles to constructing starter homes and workforce housing.

The Board will also vote on the legislative platform for 2016 and give county staff direction on developing a five-year work plan. In addition, the Supervisors will vote on okaying a Rocca Park Master Plan. Tuesday’s meeting starts at 9am in the board meeting room in downtown Sonora.
