Dodge Ridge Anticipates An Excellent Holiday Weekend

Sponsored by:

Dodge Ridge has received over one hundred inches of snow since January and they are ready for this final Holiday (President’s Day) weekend of the ski season.

Jeff Hauff, Dodge Ridge Director of Marketing and Sales Department, was Friday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.

Hauff said that every trail is open, and that the Resort has been enjoying a season filled with snow since opening over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.

“We have had a great season with lots of snow and every trail open.” Hauff said. “Over twenty feet of total snow has fallen since November.”

This Saturday, every ski lift will be operating, there will be plenty of food and live music will be performed by the Jank Tones starting at 12:30 PM.

Dodge Ridge has expanded their parking lot over the past five years to handle a larger number of vehicles.

However, Hauff also reminds snowboarders and snow skiers that the Tuolumne County Transit Service also provides round trip rides on weekends and Holidays (this Monday) for only $10 from Sonora to Dodge Ridge with pickup locations in Sonora, Twain Harte, Sugar Pine and Sierra Village. For more information on Tuolumne County Transit call (209) 532-0404.

Dodge Ridge can be reached at (209) 536-5300.

Ski conditions for all of the local Sierra Nevada ski resorts can be found on www.mymotherlode.com

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard every weekday morning at 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45 on AM-1450 KVML.
