Caltrans Work Plans Week Of January 11

Sponsored by:

Stockton, CA — Motorists should anticipate some significant delays in the coming week due to Caltrans work around the Mother Lode.

In Sonora, adjacent to Highway 108, Caltrans plans to close the westbound on-ramp from Phoenix Lake Road for slope repair and cleaning. As the work is scheduled to occur every weekday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., the agency recommends planning alternate routes in advance.

Expect 15-minute delays in Calaveras County as one-way traffic control continues Sunday through Saturday on Highway 26 from Happy Valley Road to Lower Dorray Road while crews attend to miscellaneous work from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily.

Ten-minute delays are probable every weekday on Highway 12 between Cedar Street and Lime Creek Road during highway construction work slated to run from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Along Highway 26, construction is scheduled around-the-clock between Nove Way and Highway 12. Every weekday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. expect 10-minute delays there.

Along Highway 120, Caltrans says to plan for 10-minute traffic impacts between Simms Road and Montezuma Road, where utility work is slated every weekday from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
