More Caltrans Work This Week

Sponsored by:

Stockton, CA – This week, weather permitting, Caltrans is keeping busy along two Mother Lode highways.

Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays daily through Friday as Caltrans continues attending to slope repair and clean up chores along Highway 26 between Happy Valley and Lower Dorray roads between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

On Highway 26, long-term highway construction improvements previously slated for completion in mid-November continue through mid-December in Valley Springs, where crews are working nearly around-the-clock along the shoulder between Nove Way and Highway 12 with few or no anticipated traffic impacts; just be cautious when traveling through the area.

Also on Highway 26, between Main Street and Gill Haven Drive, daily utility work scheduled between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. should not create traveler delays. However, Wednesday through Friday, more utility work between Savage Way and Nichols Road may generate brief setbacks.

In Tuolumne County, along Highway 49, core drilling Tuesday through Friday between Smoke Street and Woods Creek, scheduled to run along the shoulder from 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., is not likely to generate motorist delays. Wednesday and Thursday, motorists should plan for five-minute delays as drainage work is being done between Moccasin and Marsh Flat Road. Set up times on both days are set from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
