Governor Extends And Bolsters Drought Response

Sponsored by:

Sacramento, CA – Citing “a range of extreme weather events” including severe drought, wildfires, and El Niño, Governor Jerry Brown today issued an executive order to bolster and extend last year’s declared State of Emergency and the 25% statewide mandatory water reduction. The order calls for additional actions to build on the state’s ongoing response to record dry conditions and assist recovery efforts from this year’s devastating wildfires.
