Multiple Items Face Tuolumne County Supervisors
Sonora, CA — Governor Jerry Brown recently signed several new laws related to medical marijuana regulations, and the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will talk about how to respond locally.
On the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting is a presentation on the matter and time for the board to give staff direction. In addition, the Supervisors will accept the notice of completion for the Jamestown sidewalk project, and vote whether to extend the local state of emergencies for the drought and tree mortality. Also, the Supervisors will recognize $32,260 in grant funding that will be used to work towards reducing the rates of overdose and deaths from opioid drug use.
At the end of the meeting the Supervisors will break into closed session to discuss labor negotiations, the Jamestown Mine property and the performance evaluation for the County Administrator.
