The city would like to have the widening project completed around the time Sonora Regional Medical Center opens its new Cancer Center. SRMC help raised raise additional funding for the center last night at the Joie de Vie Gala held at Ironstone Vineyards. Around $127,000 was raised.
During the regular session at 5pm, the Council will hear about a request to relocate the permit parking at city hall from the first floor to the third. The Council will also hear from TUD about its rate study and capital improvement plan, and vote whether to close down a stretch of Green Street for a couple of days later this week for the grand opening of the Bourbon Barrel. Tonight’s regular session portion of the meeting is open to the public.
